Weird, possibly disturbing

So last second chance by Staal to tie game. On original replay on Versus, they cut out the overhead, in-goal shot really quickly so as not to show full play, in order to cut back to live action.

And in all the recaps since, they are not showing the overhead, in the net replay. I think because there is a very reasonable suspicion that Fleury carried the puck over the line. Staal didn't even hit it square (let alone into the open net), but he actually hit it slightly back down ice (toward the blue line) and into Fleury's butt. So after the puck hits his butt, it's not in, but is now bouncing back toward the goal line as he lays back down over it. While you don't actually (at least I haven't seen it) see it go over the line, you can see it is moving toward the line as Fleury is laying back, and I would bet that as he lays back and slides toward the net, the puck is under his back and over the line. I'm not sure if you noticed all his weird wriggling and scrunching as he got back up, to be sure that when he did, the puck wasn't sitting over the line.

Of course, it was never an issue. A GAME TYING GOAL WITH 20 SECONDS LEFT AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO REVIEW?? Bettman I got a broken hockey stick shaft with your asshole's name on it.
